Boya Çorbası (Paint Soup) Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Boya Çorbası (Paint Soup) (the "Game") handles information. The Game is designed for young children (under 13). It also serves as the privacy notice required by Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and Article 13 GDPR.

1. Data controller

Asena Ezgi Ünal – Buun House ("Buun House", "we"). Buun House is a sole proprietorship owned by Asena Ezgi Ünal, who is the data controller.

2. Summary

  • The Game collects no personal information from children and sends no information to us or anyone else.
  • No name, e-mail address, date of birth, location, photo, voice recording, chat or advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) is requested.
  • The Game works offline. All content is inside the app.
  • There are no accounts, logins, chat or communication between users.
  • No third-party analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools are used.
  • The Game has no ads and no in-app purchases.
  • All voices and music are pre-made and built into the app; the Game never listens to or records a child's voice. The narrator and character voices were created with AI text-to-speech (Microsoft Azure) based on adult voices; the Game does not connect to Microsoft or any other service while it is played.

3. Information kept on the device

The Game keeps the following only on the device itself. It is never sent to us or anyone else:

  • sound, music and voice-over settings;
  • language choice (Turkish/English);
  • game progress and stickers earned.

Deleting the app deletes this information.

4. Advertising

The Game contains no advertising.

5. Purchases

The Game has no in-app purchases.

6. Parent check

Settings and external links (our website, this policy, e-mail) are behind a random question that adults can answer (e.g. a multiplication or a number written in words).

7. If you e-mail us

When you write to us we process your e-mail address, your name (if given) and your message only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding and our legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f) and 5(2)(ç)). E-mails are forwarded and stored through Cloudflare (e-mail forwarding) and Google Gmail (mailbox). Their servers are outside Türkiye (including the USA), so when you e-mail us your message is transferred abroad. If you prefer, you can write to us by post at the address below. We never use your e-mail for marketing and never sell it.
Please do not include your child's name, photo or other personal details. If you do, we delete them right after answering.

8. App stores and operating systems

Apple and Google may process information under their own privacy policies as part of their store and operating-system services (e.g. download counts, or crash reports if you chose to share them). 9. Legal framework

Because the Game collects no personal information from children, parental-consent requirements for collecting children's data are not triggered. This policy was written with the following in mind:

  • Türkiye — Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK);
  • USA — COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and its 2025 amendments;
  • EU — GDPR, in particular Article 8;
  • United Kingdom — UK GDPR and the Age Appropriate Design Code ("Children's Code"): high privacy by default, no geolocation or profiling, no nudge techniques.

10. Data retention

As we collect no personal information from children, we retain none. Settings and progress stay on the device until the app is deleted. 11. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may ask us whether your data is processed and for information about it, its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to; ask for correction, erasure or destruction and for those recipients to be notified; object to an adverse result arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Under GDPR and UK GDPR you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection.

Send requests to destek@buunhouse.com or in writing to İstasyon Mh. Alan Sk. No: 35-1/7, Etimesgut / Ankara, Türkiye. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest. Because the Game holds no information about you, requests will usually result in "no records held". You can remove on-device information by deleting the app.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to a data protection authority: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Board (after first applying to us; https://www.kvkk.gov.tr), in the UK the ICO, in the EU your national supervisory authority.

12. Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version at this address and update the effective date. If our information practices change, we will announce it through an app update before it takes effect and, where required, obtain parental consent.
